Building Your Business Means Taking Action!

Kudos! It’s a enormous undertaking to start your own internet business. Besides combatting information overload and the financial aspects, you’ve committed to a great investment in you.

“Why an investment in me?” you ask.

Your determination, on a very central level, is you standing up to control your life. Beginning your internet venture may become one of the most crucial growth steps you’ll ever take. Many facets of your personality will come up for examination in the process of building your business – knowing first of all that the buck stops with you. It is you who will pull off your marketing venture and finding out there is no magical, overnight formula to the great car or mansion you dream about.

Beginning will your biggest test – learning the lay of the internet terrain, the programs available and finding your personal “place.” Do you want to set up a Mini Site or network of Mini Sites? Is affiliate marketing where you belong? Or would you rather supply a service?

Mental focus will be another big challenge. There are so many diverse avenues and alluring inroads, you’ll feel like you are being held captive in Disneyland. But it is central to give at least 150% of your attention to your business research for whatever amount of time you schedule, even if it’s only an hour or two daily. Whatever facet of your online study you undertake, whether it’s writing a sales letter, figuring out the best way to set up your site, or learning AdSense or PPC… give it your concentrated focus.

There is nothing offhand about marketing on the internet. You must know what you want, the type of clients you want to work with and the type of business associations you want to make. Don’t get me wrong, you can maneuver your scope…but focus on whatever direction you are taking. Focus on following that road while you are on it. Falling asleep at the wheel, or being lured by the billboards along the way just won’t cut it.

The linking thread, running through successful entrepeneurs, has been defined in three words “Speed of Implementation.” The the minute you get an idea, fly with it, try it out, test drive it, see if it works. ACT ON IT!  AND LEARN FROM YOUR ACTIONS!

Why are 3% of the internet marketers making substantial money on the net? Because most people sit around and think…should I do this…or that…but if I do, then maybe it will, maybe it won’t, and if this happens….or what if that…. They play the game in their imagination, debate with themselves, wonder if that’s really what they want to do, worry that if what they want will ever really happen, and they argue themselves out of doing rather than grabbing the bull by the horns and tasting the live result of learning first hand.

A brilliant artist friend used to say, “If you do the painting in your mind or talk about it long enough, you’ll never have to do it!”

Successful people ACT and LEARN FROM THEIR ACTIONS. They try out their idea and get feedback. They experience the effect.

Once you attempt it, experience it to actually see how it works, you’ll comprehend what skill you must have to implement. When you implement, you progress… you get to see results. YOU LEARN!

And once you learn something, continue on. Follow through with what you learn. If you take a course on list building, go with it. Set up your sales page, your squeeze page. Practice writing and sending emails. Don’t mull the lessons over and over. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

YOU LEARN FROM DOING, TAKING ACTION, GETTING RESPONSES, EXPERIENCING THE RESULTANT ACTIONS.  There are no mistakes, only educational experiences.

You are emeshed in a powerful, personal growing process whether you realize it or not. More than a marketing endeavor, it’s a self-training endeavor. Kudos and I wish you an expansive growth experience.
