Department of Natural Resources already announced the simplified version of titling residential lands. DENR Secretary Lito Atienza said that simplifying the process of titling will not only make things easier but will also enhance the socio-ecoomic situation of the Filipinos.
The revisions can be seen at the DENR Administrative Order 2009-05. One of the changes there is that individuals would not need to secure a certification from DPWH to know if there will be DPWH projects to be done on the area. A certificate from the municipal planning and development office is enough. This process will only take 3 months compared with getting a certificate from DPWH that usually take years to complete.
