Megaworld still has high hopes that the company will be able to get higher profits before the end of 2009 although at this moment, property reservation is low. According to Megaworld Executive Director Kingson U. Sian, although the Philippines is experiencing global financial crisis, they are still confident that they will be able to achieve their reservation sales target, which is P4 billion.  Mr. Sian is not expecting that they will be able to have much more profits compared to 2007, which was by the way their highest in its 20 years of existence, but to at least equal the 2007 sales.

Megaworld will be developing 5 new residential sites around Metro Manila. They are also finalizing the hotel designs intended to target the “tight-budgeted” individuals which are “SM Inns” and “Go Hotels” partnered with the Sys and Gokongweis respectively.
