Dubai-based owner of the British ocean liner, QE2, is planning to open another QE2 which will become a floating hotel that will be situated outside Dubai. Nakheel, the ship owner, is planning to having it somewhere in the Middle East or Africa.

Other ports expressed interest in having the ship in their area but until now the owner have not revealed where the locations for the QE2 will be. The reason why Nakheel wanted to have QE2 in another port is because of financial problems in the real estate industry. The business is not prosperous in the Persian Gulf sheikdom.
