Quezon City has been known to be one of the most polluted cities in the Philippines and the Quezon City local government would like to erase that notion about the city. A proposal is being drafted to make Quezon City buildings to have their own sewerage treatment facility so that it won’t add up to the existing pollution in the city. Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte asked city building official Isagani Verzosa to complete the Implementing rules and regulations (IRR) immediately. Building owners will be rewarded with tax incentives by being eco-friendly in their own properties.
