With the current global economic crisis, foreign US real estate investors are still hopeful that real estates will recover on 2010 specifically, during the second quarter. This is based on the survey conducted by Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE). The survey was participated by almost 200 members of the organization that took a month to be completed.
According to the survey, which is being done annually for 17 years, the top cities where foreign US real estate investors would invest their dollars in are Washington, D.C., New York, and San Francisco. More respondents feel that Washington, D.C. will be the first to recover, with an unexpected percentage change among respondents’ choices from last year, compared to the expected city of choice New York.
