Treveia is the newest eco-friendly residential community that will become the shelter for individuals who would like to feel closer to nature in the city. According to Jennyle Tupaz, Division Manager for Project Development of Alveo Land, “Treveia is designed to offset the ecological impact of residences,”. Treveia’s designs and facilities are intended to consume energy and conserve water.

Homes and facilities have natural lighting and ventilation to conserve the use of light during the day. Wide bike and walkable paths were also built so that there would be lesser carbon-emissions from vehicles passing by. The roads were made of semi-porous cement that allow rainwater to penetrate and replenish the reservoir. Water from the reservoir will be used for facilities that would require non-potable water (i.e. flushing the toilet).
